Nathan Grant Happenings
Nathan is getting really good at constructing things with his Lego's. Today his creation was a Mail Truck. It was short and boxy and even had "mail" inside (smaller pieces of lego). Check out this great pic of him with his prized truck.
Natalie Rae Happenings
Natalie Rae Happenings
Natalie woke up with a raspy voice and terrible cough yesterday and it continues today along with a runny nose and fever of about 101. She is a little quieter than normal and isn't eating much, but otherwise she is her normal self. We got out some shoes I had ordered from Children's Place earlier in the month that were intended to be worn for Christmas next year (they were having a HUGE sale...$3 shoes!!!). They are red with sparkles and big bows on the top and she LOVES them! A shoe fanatic at 1, guess she is now officially and by all definitions a girly girl :) She has been wearing them around the house all morning even though they are 2 sizes too big.
Family Happenings
This past Tuesday, my grandma Jo passed. She was such a fabulous grandma...I have so many wonderful memories of her as a child. We held the funeral on Friday morning at Havenbrook Funeral Home and the service was very nice. All of us cousins were able to share a fond memory of grandma with everyone...tough to do, but left us all with a great sense of peace. Thanks to all for the prayers this week. Special thanks to Nana Nancy for coming all the way from Medford to stay with the kiddos while Travis and I attended the funeral and spent time with family. It was great to know that my babies were being well cared for while I was away for the day.
