Wonderfall

The church puts on a huge carnival each year at halloween.  The kids loved it!  They had bounce houses, slides, games and tons of other activities that we just didn't make it to.

Carter in his Bear costume.
This was Nathan's costume when he was a baby too!

Princess Natalie

Nathan with his friend Sarah.
She sits next to him at school and is also in his Sunday School class.

Nathan and Natalie jumping around in the bounce house!

Natalie playing Plinko
This was my all time favorite game on The Price is Right.  Growing up, Kristin and I would watch the show with grandma every morning.  We lived for them to play Plinko.  We even made a Plino board of our own when we were kids.  Hammered nails into a board and used checkers to slide down it!  So much fun.  Kristin thinks her mom still has the board :)  Ahhhhh the days of childhood!

Nathan tossing wet sponges at some girl's face
That is one game I wouldn't have volunteered to do :)

Nathan trying to dunk the poor guy in the dunk tank.
It was soooooo cold, I bet that guy was freezing!
I wouldn't have volunteered for this one either!

We will trick or treat in our neighborhood on Sunday night, should have lots of fun pics to share afterwards!

Nathan Recognized at Jefferson's Assembly Today!

Each month Jefferson recognizes 2 students from each grade for their artwork and this month Nathan's work was chosen!  The kids got to walk across the stage as their artwork was shown on the huge screen on stage for everyone to see.  He was so proud of himself!!  He also had a speaking part for Red Ribbon Week.  Each class had one child stand up and say something about drug awareness...Nathan represented Mrs. Coffman's class!!

Here is a pic of our little artist walking across the stage as his picture was shown...

And here he is just after coming off stage....look how proud he was!!

4.3 Earthquake in Norman!

According to the USGS there was an earthquake 6 miles east of Norman this morning!  I felt it, heard it and saw it!  CRAZY!  I was sitting on our bed playing with Carter when I heard what sounded like a really loud airplane flying overhead.  Soon the rumble became way too loud to be an airplane and the walls started shaking, the bed was moving and the dresser in our room was swaying!  It only lasted for a few seconds but it was scary!

Natalie was clueless.  I was shouting at her from across the house to come to our room but she didn't even hear me she was so focused on the cartoon on her TV.  Silly girl!

Nathan was at school and I have not had a chance to talk to him about it.  We got an automated call from the school saying that Norman had an earthquake but that all kids were ok and that the facility did not have any damage so school would continue as usual.

Travis was in his car here in town but didn't feel or hear it.  He is sooooo bummed!

Anyway, here is a map showing the epicenter... (you have to click on the picture to see the full map)
