The Best Train Track Ever!
Nathan's train track engineering skills are becoming even more impressive. I am always amazed at what his 4 year old brain can put together. This latest track stretched almost the entire length of the living room. He constructed it after school on Friday and with only a little bit of help from mom and dad, every track looped back up to another track making one fabulous railroad town :)
Natalie is taking an interest in trains too. She calmly pushes the trains along the track quietly saying, "choo choo"....well, we assume that is what she is trying to say anyway :)
I just love to watch the kids play together. I hope they have a close relationship as they grow up. As of right now, Natalie thinks the world of her big brother and wants to be just like him. At school, the teachers have to pry them apart when they see each other in the lunch room. And, everyday when Natalie and I pick Nathan up from school, she runs to him as fast as she can with her arms stretched out and gives him the biggest hug you have ever seen. He hugs her back and everyone around oooh's and aaahhh's over them...then of course Nathan get's embarrassed and pushes her away :)
From time to time, Nathan get's frustrated with Natalie taking his toys, but usually manage to work it out. They have their moments of course, but all in all they really enjoy each other's company and it's obvious that they love each other dearly.
